Chinese Acupressure Massage

Chinese Acupressure Massage is an ancient healing art that evolved from the folk therapy  thousands of years ago to alleviate diseases without the use of drugs or instruments.  It relies solely on the techniques of the therapist's hand being applied to the body surface of the patient.

Acupressure massage has the ability to regulate nerve function, to strengthen the body's resistance to disease, to flush out the tissues and to improve circulation of blood and to make the joints more flexible.

Applying the wisdom of the Chinese meridian system blood and Qi or energy can be moved through  the body  balancing and protecting from disease.  These meridians can be likened to waterways, the Qi (chi) is like water that flows easily through the channels. Tensions, stagnation or blockages in the muscles and meridians act  like debris or dams stopping the path of water, Qi or energy flowing where it needs to.  Stimulating and releasing specific acu-points dissolve blockages in the meridians helps to restore harmony and homeostasis. Trusting the body's own wisdom to heal itself, as disease is simply any imbalance in the system.

Acupressure massage can improve general physical condition, and strengthen the body's resistance, resulting in the prevention and curing of disease.
